I just realized that I am already late in tackling some issues with rules for adding and subtracting rational numbers. I had kept it on hold hoping that I will stumble upon good learning material or someone who can lend a hand with subtracting exponents, midpoint of a line and function composition. May be, I did not search hard enough. But at present I am running late . It is simply tough to stumble upon a first-class teacher to quickly educate me. It is beyond what I can give. And I need to find a immediate way out. Can someone who has had the same problem enlighten me as to what I can do? It will be a huge help.

It's true , there are programs that can assist you with homework. I think there are a few types that help you solve algebra problems, but I heard that Algebrator is the best amongst them. I used the program when I was a student in Algebra 2 for helping me with rules for adding and subtracting rational numbers, and it never failed me since then. In time I understood all the topics, and then I was able to solve the hardest of the tests alone . Don't worry; you won't have any problem using it. It was made for students, so it's simple to use. Actually you just have to type in the topic and that's it .Of course you should use it to learn algebra, not just copy the answers , because you won't improve that way.

I agree , a good program can do miracles . I used a few but Algebrator is the best . It doesn't make a difference what class you are in, I myself used it in Basic Math and Intermediate algebra as well , so you don't have to worry that it's not on your level. If you never had a program before I can tell you it's not complicated, you don't have to know anything about the computer to use it. You just have to type in the keywords of the exercise, and then the program solves it step by step, so you get more than just the answer.

x-intercept, matrices and radicals were a nightmare for me until I found Algebrator, which is truly the best math program that I have ever come across. I have used it through many algebra classes – Pre Algebra, Algebra 2 and Algebra 2. Simply typing in the algebra problem and clicking on Solve, Algebrator generates step-by-step solution to the problem, and my math homework would be ready. I really recommend the program.
