You might want to check out Algebrator. I bought it some time back to help me with my Remedial Algebra course and I can say that it was a wise decision. There are so many demos provided which you can browse through. You can also try out the questions related to linear equations and long division by just typing them in. Algebrator provides comprehensive description to the problems which helps to make difficult concepts understandable . I would say that this program is absolutely the best that money can buy.

I remember having often faced difficulties with angle suplements, distance of points and inverse matrices. A really great piece of algebra program is Algebrator software. By simply typing in a problem from workbook a step by step solution would appear by a click on Solve. I have used it through many algebra classes – Algebra 2, Algebra 2 and Basic Math. I greatly recommend the program.
