Hi math lovers , I heard that there are various programs that can help with us doing our homework, like a teacher substitute. Is this really true? Is there a software that can help me with algebra ? I have never tried one until now, but they are probably not hard to use I assume. If anyone tried such a software , I would really appreciate some more detail about it. I'm in College Algebra now, so I've been studying things like the greatest common factor of 95 and 80 and it's not easy at all.

It always feels good when I hear that beginners are willing to put that extra effort into their studies. the greatest common factor of 95 and 80 is not a very complex subject and you can easily do some initial preparation yourself. As a helping tool, I would suggest that you get a copy of Algebrator. This software is quite beneficial when doing math yourself.

Thanks for the detailed information , this sounds awesome. I wanted something just like Algebrator, because I don't want a software which only solves the exercise and shows the final result, I want something that can actually show me how the exercise needs to be solved. That way I can understand it and next time solve it on my own, not just copy the results. Where can I find the software?

Yeah you will have to buy it though it will cost you less than a tutor. You can get an idea about Algebrator here https://mathworkorange.com/math-201-1-final-review-sheet.html. They give you an no questions asked money-back guarantee. I haven’t yet had any reason to take them up on it though. All the best!
